9 QoS MEASUREMENTS PROVIDED REGULAR TEST Modems available in operators service centres are used; About on 200 places during each year measurements across the country are provided; 5 measurements in every mobile internet access providers network are made in each place; 3 GSM/UMTS (BITE, LMT, TELE2) and 1 CDMA (Triatel) mobile internet access providers in Latvia are tested.
10
10 QoS MEASUREMENTS PROVIDED 24 HOURS TEST ARE PROVIDED IN 10-15 PLACES WHERE: Are measured QoS parameters values for all mobile internet access service providers 24 hours a day 7 days a week; All modems operate via Ethernet switch; Measurement tool is placed in post offices.
11
11 MEASUREMENT RESULTS PROCEEDING AND PUBLISHING All results are divided into speed groups* Average results for every measurement place for every operator are calculated ________________________ * Speed groups harmonized with broadband report for the market analyses and with CEPT Report No 195 < 256 kbps 256 kbps – 2 Mbps 2 Mbps – 10 Mbps 10 Mbps – 30 Mbps 30 Mbps – 100 Mbps >100 Mbps
12
12 ANNUAL QOS REPORT 1)Average results for every measurement place for every operator are included in Annual QoS Report in comparable way; 2)Measurement results divided into speed groups are included in Annual QoS Report in comparable way; 3)Maps with specified measurement places are included in Annual QoS Report; 4)Annual QoS Report is published in SPRK website at the first week of April (http://www.sprk.gov.lv).http://www.sprk.gov.lv MEASUREMENT RESULTS PROCEEDING AND PUBLISHING
