OPEN DAYS 2010 One EU 2020, the grand EU strategy for smart, green and inclusive growth. Goals and targets for the next ten years: raise research and innovation investment, decrease CO2 and energy consumption, shape business environments, take demographic challenges, raise jobs and skills, raise employment rates, raise societal inclusion by social and territorial cohesion Seven Flagship Initiatives to deliver the goals: Seven Communications full of actions – „The Innovation Union“, „Youth Mobility“, „Digital Agenda“, „Industrial Policy“, „Ressource Efficient Europe“, „Agenda for new Jobs and Skills“, „ Platform against Poverty to ensure social and territorial cohesion“. PRESENT: Research Programmes FP 7; FP 8 ( KBBE-Ocean, Renewable energy programmes, new materials, Health etc.) Structural Funds: Objectives 1,2,3 PLANNED: -Funding of Large Research Infrastructures -Innovation Partnership on raw materials (substitution and better recycling) -New Jobs and Skills Programmes -Programmes for e-learning, high speed internet (digital agenda) / To benefit from: INNOVATION CAPACITIES NEEDED FIRST !!!!!!
