ENERGY – 3.03.01 Structural statistics Current situation  MONSTAT produced annual energy statistics according to Regulation 1099/2008 and IEA/OECD/EUROSTAT Energy Statistics Manual.  MONSTAT produces the annual energy balances for Montenegro.  The methodology for energy balances, definition and grouping of types of energy, as well as statistical terminology, are harmonized with IEA/OECD/EUROSTAT standards. ENERGY – 3.03.02 Short-term statistics Current situation  MONSTAT started with pilot project on monthly energy statistics in 2013.  MONSTAT developed web aplication for collection data on monthly level. ENERGY – 3.03.03 Prices Current situation  MONSTAT collect and processing data on energy prices according to Directive 2008/92  MONSTAT collected and processed data on energy prices of electricity for the industry and households for 2011 and 2012.  Data for 2011 and 2012 were transmitted to EUROSTAT via eDamis.  Prices on gas and indicators are not relevant, because there is non-existence of a natural gas production and distribution in Montenegro. ENERGY – 3.03.04 Energy policies Current situation  Competition indicators for electricity annual was produced and sent to EUROSTAT in November 2012 for 2011.  Energy Law (Official Journal No. 28/2010) contains provisions relating to renewable energy sources and cogeneration and incentives for their use. It also determines the content and method of making software development and use of renewable energy sources, as well as the method of determining the national target for renewable energy in accordance with Directive 2009/28/EC on the promotion and use of energy from renewable sources.  Energy Efficiency Law (Official Journal No. 29/2010) in line with Directive 2006/32/EC on energy end use efficiency and energy services.
