Sustainability at the Point of Manufacturing Zep Inc.-Atlanta has maintained a long-standing program of recycling off-spec product within the strict criteria for product quality to minimize waste generation. Off-spec products not amenable for recycling are evaluated for sale as raw material chemicals in the secondary chemical market to likewise achieve waste minimization. Zep Inc. has had a long standing program to minimize wastewater generation, in particular re-using most equipment wash-out water.

Sustainability at the Point of Manufacturing All wastewater discharged to Zep Inc.’s on-site permitted wastewater treatment plant is fully treated and discharged to the City of Atlanta in accordance with city requirements. Zep Inc.-Seaboard is an ISO14001 & ISO 9000 -certified manufacturing facility.
