3 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY The Sandusky City Schools have always had a strong legacy of tradition, pride, and excellence that is evident in the daily operations of our schools Our primary goal is to dramatically redefine the delivery of academics and educational services to position our students to compete on a global level

16 PILLAR #7 - TECHNOLOGY Maintained infrastructure that is consistent, reliable, and usable across the district Added iPads as instructional tools to every Kindergarten classroom Continue to increase the number of blended/hybrid learning environments for students Provided increased instructional technology integration techniques and professional development for educators: Google Apps for Education, iPad integration techniques and instructional/data management software Adopted computer curriculum for grades K-6 Continue to enhance marketing and communication techniques Highlights:

22 PILLAR #10 – STUDENT Installed new Rational Oven at Sandusky High School Replaced freezers at Venice Heights Elementary & Osborne Elementary Installed walk in freezer at Mills Elementary Continued free breakfast and lunch program at all buildings Served hot breakfasts at all buildings Student breakfast participation has increased by 17% Student lunch participation increased by 6% New digital menu boards in Sandusky High School Cafeteria Completed Sandusky High School murals Nutrition Enrichment and Project-Based Learning activities Highlights : NUTRITION & FOOD SERVICES
