Teacher Preparation Pipeline STEM/CTE group recommended Accepted as major in Teacher Credentialing Program Fewer math and sciences courses are required In July, elementary teachers will be required to have 8 courses in Child Development to teach Transitional Kindergarten; this requirement may be extended to all elementary grades (K-2) CD courses prepare students for upper-division courses.
