2. Natural Resources: A natural resources inventory was used to create the site plan. Streets, buildings and other built features are located to conserve high priority vegetation. Landscape Plan: Landscaping was phased to ensure denuded areas are quickly vegetated. Plants with similar watering needs are grouped (Hydrozoning). 3. Storm Water Management: 86% of roads are aligned with natural topography to reduce cut and fill erosion. All roads, driveways, alleys and parking areas are pervious surfaces utilizing recycled concrete from concrete plant in the area. Existing Buildings: Existing 50-year old tobacco barn was restored. 80-year-old hand-hewn log home was relocated and assembled on site and now serves as office and guest quarters.
