What to expect cont. ► Families will bring required foods (bmilk, formula, cereal, pureed) ► Involve families in meal planning ► Individual “eating schedules” (how often, much, food preference, when to start solids, types of foods) ► Encouragement of “independence” ► 1 yrs. old – CFG applies (4 food groups)

Infants & Food Safety ► > 1 no honey, eggs well cooked/avoided ► Hard, small & round, smooth & sticky (popcorn, hard candy, carrots, fish*, peanut butter*) ► No “propped-up” bottles, supervise, allergy check
