Frosty the Snowman

Frosty the Snowman Was a jolly, happy soul, With a corn cob pipe And a button nose And two eyes made out of coal.

Frosty the Snowman Is a fairy tale, they say, He was made of snow, But the children know How he came to life one day.

There must have been some magic in that old silk hat they found. For when they placed it on his head he began to dance around.

Just the same as you and me. Oh, Frosty the Snowman Was alive as he could be, And the children say He could laugh and play

Frosty the Snowman Knew the sun was hot that day. So he said, “Let’s run And we’ll have some fun Now before I melt away.”

Down to the village With a broomstick in his hand, Running here and there All around the square Saying, “Catch me if you can.”

He led them down the streets of town Right to the traffic cop. And he only paused a moment when He heard him holler “Stop!”

For, Frosty the Snowman Had to hurry on his way. But he waved goodbye Saying, “Don’t you cry, I’ll be back again someday.”

Thumpety thump thump, Thumpety thump thump, Over the hills of snow. Thumpety thump thump, Thumpety thump thump, Look at Frosty go.

You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch Ppt. by Nancy Johnson

You’re a mean one, Mr. Grinch; You really are a heel. You’re as cuddly as a cactus, You’re as charming as an eel. Mister Grinch!

You’re a bad banana with a (2 snaps) greasy black peel.

You’re a monster, Mister Grinch! Your heart’s an empty hole. Your brain is full of spiders, You’ve got garlic in your soul! Mister Grinch!

I wouldn’t touch you with a (1 snap) Thirty-nine-and-one- half-foot pole.

Ppt. by Nancy Johnson

I broke my bat on Johnny’s head. Somebody snitched on me. I hid a frog in sister’s bed; Somebody snitched on me.

I spilled some ink on Mommy’s rug, I made Tommy eat a bug, Bought some gum with a penny slug; Somebody snitched on me.

Oh, I’m gettin’ nuttin’ for Christmas. Mommy and Daddy are mad. I’m gettin’ nuttin’ for Christmas, ‘Cause I ain’t been nuttin’ but bad.

I put a tack on teacher’s chair; Somebody snitched on me. I tied a knot in Susie’s hair; Somebody snitched on me.

I did a dance on Mommy’s plants, Climbed a tree and tore my pants. Filled the sugar bowl with ants; Somebody snitched on me.

So, I’m gettin’ nuttin’ for Christmas. Mommy and Daddy are mad. I’m gettin’ nuttin’ for Christmas, ‘Cause I ain’t been nuttin’ but bad.

I won’t be seeing Santa Claus; Somebody snitched on me. He won’t come visit me because Somebody snitched on me.

Next year I’ll be going straight, Next year I’ll be good, just wait. I’d start now but it’s too late; Somebody snitched on me.

Oh, I’m gettin’ nuttin’ for Christmas. Mommy and Daddy are mad. I’m gettin’ nuttin’ for Christmas, ‘Cause I ain’t been nuttin’ but bad.

So you’d better be good, whatever you do, ‘Cause if you’re bad I’m warning you, You’ll get nuttin’ for Christmas.

Silent Night

Silent night! Holy night! All is calm, all is bright. ‘Round yon virgin, Mother and Child! Holy infant so tender and mild, Sleep in heavenly peace, Sleep in heavenly peace.

Reindeer Rap Performed by Gr. 4 Ppt. by Nancy Johnson

We fly through the air like we know that we should, To bring you presents and make Santa look good! We want you to know that we just don’t get it! We do all the work while Santa gets the credit! Without us, Santa’s nothin’!

There’s Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen, Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen. We even have a standby who ev’ryone knows. “My name is Rudolph, with the bright red nose!” Without us, Santa’s nothin’!

‘Up on the housetop the reindeer pause.’ Do you know what it’s like, pullin’ “The Claus?” Ev’ry year he gets bigger and bigger! You really would think he might watch his figure!

Santa thought about a snowmobile, he even tried a cycle. A train or a plane he thought he might like. But he’ll stick with us ‘til his dyin’ day, ‘Cause he knows we’re the ones who can pull his sleigh! Without us, Santa’s nothin’!

Now, don’t get us wrong; he’s a really nice guy. And we all do enjoy flying through the sky. It’s just that we want the attention we deserve! And ignoring us really takes a lot of nerve!

So this Christmas Eve when you close your eyes tight, Please remember that we’ve been flyin’ all night! Slippin’ and slidin’ on ev’ry roof top, Killin’ ourselves makin’ Santa look hot!

Without us, Santa’s nothin’! Without us, Santa’s nothin’! With us, he’s somethin ’!

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

You know Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen,

Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen;

But do you recall the most famous reindeer of all?

(Oops, sorry, wrong one...)

Rudolph, the red- nosed reindeer, (reindeer) Had a very shiny nose. (like a light bulb)

And if you ever saw it, (saw it) You would even say it glows. (like a firefly)

All of the other reindeer, (reindeer) Used to laugh and call him names; (like Pinocchio)

They never let poor Rudolph (Rudolph) Join in any reindeer games. (like Monopoly)

Then, one foggy Christmas Eve, Santa came to say: (“Ho! Ho! Ho!”) “Rudolph, with your nose so bright, Won’t you guide my sleigh tonight?”

Then, how the reindeer loved him, (loved him) As they shouted out with glee: (“Yippee!”) “Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer, (reindeer) You’ll go down in history!”

Jingle Bell Rock

Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock, Jingle bell swing and jingle bells ring. Snowin’ and blowin’ up bushels of fun, Now the jingle hop has begun.

Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock, Jingle bells chime in jingle bell time. Dancin’ and prancin’ in Jingle Bell Square In the frosty air.

What a bright time, It’s the right time To rock the night away. Jingle bell time is a swell time To go glidin’ in a one-horse sleigh.

Giddy-up, jingle horse, Pick up your feet. Jingle around the clock. Mix and mingle in a jinglin’ beat. That’s the jingle bell, That’s the jingle bell, That’s the jingle bell rock.

We Wish You a Merry Christmas

We wish you a merry Christmas, We wish you a merry Christmas, We wish you a merry Christmas, And a happy New Year.

Good tidings to you wherever you are. Good tidings for Christmas And a happy New Year.

We wish you a merry Christmas, We wish you a merry Christmas, We wish you a merry Christmas And a happy New Year.
