2. Who Am I? I was born in El Paso, Texas. I’ve been living in New Mexico since 2007. I am married and we have 3 children, Eddie, Issac and Sophie. I have been running my own “Home Daycare/Preschool” for the last 2 years and LOVING IT!

4. Educational Background I attended a public school in El Paso, Texas from K - 12 th grade. After adulthood wasn't as fun as I thought it was going to be, I attended and ALL WOMEN'S Catholic College - The College of St Catherine in St Paul, Minnesota from 2001-2006, graduating with a B.S. in Business. In 11th grade, I encountered a teacher who was very caring and he set my foundation of who I am today! Mr. Sass was our Choir teacher and he and his wife became great role models for me. My mother had passed when I was in 11th grade & I was needing direction. They took me and the other choir members in and would let us come to their home to “hang out” and not be running around town.

5. Future I love teaching Preschool and enjoy the younger children. I am attending the MAED program at Ashford to help me obtain a teaching position in an Elementary setting.

6. Master’s Degree A Master’s Degree will help me in my future role as a teacher, by learning the latest methods of teaching and technology to assist my future students. I also feel it will help me advance into a position quickly!
