2 1. Click on, Brain Pop and watch the video and pay attention to the key terms that Tim and Moby discuss.Brain Pop 3. After watching the video, take the quiz and review your results. 3 Identify the Theme 1.Using the Sock Puppet app, create a video with your shoulder buddy. 2.You and your shoulder buddy will take turns reenacting the main conflict, resolution, and most important part of the story. 3.Click the “new” button to begin a new puppet show. 4.Choose the desired puppets, backgrounds, and props. 5.Use the buttons at the top to start and stop the recording. 6. Make sure to end your puppet show with the theme of the story or the lesson that the author wanted you to learn. This last step is the most important part of your puppet show. This lets the reader know what the author intended them to learn. This task uses: Learning Objective(s): RL.5.2: Determine a theme of a story, drama, or poem from details in the text, including how characters in a story or drama respond to challenges or how the speaker in a poem reflects upon a topic; summarize the text.
