3 Current Generation… 2009- Popular titles including Grand Theft Auto, Call of Duty, Halo, EverQuest, Doom and many more have one thing in common– Kill everything!

4 Early Childhood: Titles rated Early Childhood -For children Age 3+ -Does not contain any material that parents would find inappropriate. Everyone: Titles rated Everyone (E) have content -For Ages 6+ -They may contain minimal violence, some comic mischief (for example, slapstick comedy), or some crude language.

15 One researcher, Dr. Ronald Slaby, has found: 1. Aggressor Effect – encouraging violent behavior. 2. Victim Effect – increased fearfulness. 3. Bystander Effect – leading to callousness, accepting violence as normal. 4. Increased Appetite Effect – building a desire to watch more violence or play violent games.
