You must attend if you’ve agreed to sign up. Watch the game for free. Meal tickets. Earn money for FDA. Get your ushering points. If you usher, we will pay you $20 per time you usher.

Classroom Coaching with Austin Partners in Education volunteer tutoring program supports elementary and middle school students in underserved communities goal is to help students make progress in reading or math, and to improve their confidence and engagement in school. high need for volunteers Program Highlights –Classroom Coaches work with a group of students at a pre-selected time and school, once a week for 45 minutes. –The student group is small, with a 3:1 or 2:1 student/volunteer ratio –Lessons are pre-planned and all materials are provided to you in advance. –APIE staff will be in the classroom with you. –Teachers also remain in the classroom. –Coaches complete a background check and a 2 hour training before working with the students. https://austinpartners.secure.force.com/opportunitiesByProgram?prg=all

Physician Speaker Dr. Michael Rains Board Certified Dermatologist When: Wednesday, September 23 rd Where: CLA 0.112 Time: 7pm-8pm Dr. Rains graduated cum laude from Baylor University with a bachelor of science in forensic science. He earned his Medical Doctorate at University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB), magna cum laude. Dr. Rains completed his dermatology residency training at University of Texas Southwestern in Austin, Texas, with a special interest in rosacea care and improving teen patient compliance in the treatment of acne. He’s active in several medical organizations, including the American Academy of Dermatology, the Travis County Medical Society, and as a volunteer faculty member for the UTSW Dermatology residency program.American Academy of Dermatology
