QW: OMaM Choices Choose one of the following questions to answer in your composition notebook. (Chapter 1; Page 5) What observations can you make about Lennie based on his attachment to the dead mouse? (Chapter 3; Page 52) Susy's whore house is a seemingly normal place for the men to visit. How might the same type of place be seen today? Is this acceptable? Why/why not? (Chapter 3) Why do minor characters, even Susy the prostitute, and the dog Lulu, have names, but not Curley’s wife?

Objective, Agenda, & Homework Objective: Students will read and analyze the development of characters, conflict, and themes in Of Mice and Men. Agenda: Quick Write Read Chapters 3-4 Complete Study Guide Questions and Theme Sheet for Ch. 3-4 Homework: Bring your Othello book tomorrow! Chapters 3-4 homework is due tomorrow. Greek Roots 61-65 and chapters 5-6 homework are due after break.

Of Mice and Men Chapters 3-4 Begin reading chapters 3 and 4. You will need to have chapters 3-4 read by the beginning of class tomorrow. Study Guide Questions (pg. 1-5) Answer the questions using complete sentences. Write the page number(s) where the answers can be located to the left of the question. Theme Sheet (pg. 6-8) Begin collecting evidence. You should have approximately 1 piece of evidence for each chapter because there are 6 chapters. Begin making connections to Othello. You will start writing themes about midway through the novella.
