Background The training programs were taken up under “Intensive Training Programme _ Training for All” initiative of DoPT, Govt of India in Jharkhand in 2008-9 Expert Committee of SKIPA identified some sectors both at state and district levels relevant for Jharkhand for Intensive Training under ITP.

ITP by SKIPA, Ranchi A sum of Rs 50 Lakh was received under ITP, DoPT, GOI in 2009 Sri Ranendra Kumar, Joint Director, SKIPA has been designated as the Nodal Officer of this programme. Team Members - Prof Dileep Kumar and Mrs Usha Dwivedi, Dy Director

TNA The Director General, SKIPA constituted a core team consisting of Faculty Members of SKIPA, Eminent Professors from Ranchi University and Experts from various academic and Management Institutions of Jharkhand to identify the training needs in the state. After deliberations, eight major topics were identified as most relevant for intensive training in the state.

Future Plans Inclusion of New Sectors relevant for Jharkhand like Disaster Management Intensive training program on "Forest Dwellers Right Act -2006" to be taken up Expansion of Training in Districts Collaboration with Govt Depts, NGOs, UN Bodies,Technical Institutes like SIRD, BAU, ICAR etc

After the training on FRA-2006, the Officers/staff got sensitized and motivated and they distributed Pattas in Ranchi and other districts Under RTI, more than 3000 people were trained and the filing of RTI petiotions have gone up considerably.
