13 WIC Champions WIC Strong4Life (S4L) Champions are team leaders, supervisors, managers, or peers who are skilled at Motivational Interviewing or want to become more skilled and are willing to participate in advanced training to be able to perform observations of other staff so that these other staff can improve their skills. Observations include the actual client session and the resulting goal. Nutrition Service Directors select the S4L WIC Champion within their district. This is an excellent opportunity to develop career skills including: leadership, coaching and counseling for skills improvement and evidence commitment to WIC.
