How do we learn? How does a human brain take a piece of information, and remember it, so that it can be recalled and used later? With all the information that confronts the brain daily, how does it determine what to keep, and what to throw away? Is there anything we can do to help it? Do we all learn differently? In this Webquest, you will follow the steps of inquiry to answer these question. With a partner, you will look at websites about a brain and learning. You will also complete activities that will help you look at yourself as a learner. In the end, you should have an idea about how the brain works, and how you can help yourself be a better learner. You will also create a project to teach someone else about learning better. Continue

Assignment 5: My Learning History Step 2: My Learning Timeline 1. Go to The Read/Write/Think Timeline Maker (click here).The Read/Write/Think Timeline Maker (click here). 2. Give your timeline a name. 3. Choose “Entry” from the list. 4. Click Next at the top write. 5. Enter your earliest learning memory. Give a title, and write at least 2 sentences of description. (Full sentence!) 6. Move onto the next entry. Enter your next memory. Write 2 sentences of description. 7. Continue until you’ve entered your 8 memories, with at least two sentences for each description. 8. When finished, print your timeline. Return to the Assignment List
