1 Whilst the murals are the highlight for this years spend, we have been busy raising and spending funds in other ways during the Spring Term Money in and out The Easter Raffle was a great success again this year making a profit of £345.43 with 97 eggs being donated. This is also a really special event for the children with great reactions from all of the winners. We raised a total of £170.00 from Bags to School. We recently gave £47.23 for compost for the school flower beds which Year 2 are developing The school is awaiting sample sports tops to try for size before making their final order using money raised by FONS. We look forward to seeing those and how smart the school sports teams and coaches will look. More updates to the library and new picnic benches for the children to sit outside Welcome to the Summer Term edition of the FONS Newsletter. We’re finishing this Academic Year on a high, over the Easter break the school library was transformed by the murals featuring many popular story characters. Within this Newsletter, we’ve shared details of how this was achieved and the reactions of the children. We’ve also got details of our Mayday event to be held on Friday 23 rd May (just before half term). This is one of the highlights of the School calendar we hope to see as many of you there as possible. FONS Newsletter Spring Term 2014 Is that the B.F.G? Our latest achievement FONS members have again been helping get the children ready for the May Day Celebrations scheduled for Friday 23 rd May We hope to see as many parents as possible.
