6 Qualitätsgemeinschaft Euro-Schulen-Organisation ESF and government promoted projects that are tailored to specific target groups’ requirements (especially women and young people) to facilitate their professional integration at the job market Job and training placement projects in co- operation with the Job Centre of the city of Halle and its region Focus on young people with multiple disadvantages (no school graduation, job- and training dropouts, young people with difficult social background) Realisation of mobility projects according to the EU educational programme LEONARDO DA VINCI - trainees, training supervisors, young employees, partnership projects

8 International Courses 2 years professional training in business administration and languages (English and French) 1. Graduation: Economic Assistant nationally recognized Economic Assistant - Foreign Languages and correspondence 1 year international training and specialization (Tourism and Events; Marketing Management; Office Management) 2. Graduation: ESA Diploma 1 Year Studying Abroad: Netherlands, UK Bachelor of Arts

9 Qualitätsgemeinschaft Euro-Schulen-Organisation Competences Development and realisation of modern, practically orientated programmes for training and further education Development and realisation of job and training placement projects for disadvantaged persons Development and realisation of modern language- and teaching concepts for the training of foreign students and trainees inclusion of international experiences and close collaboration with international partners to develop training and further educational offerings Currently: 35 permanently employed members of staff (training supervisors, teachers, project managers, social education workers, project co-workers, trainers, staff in administration) as well as 30 to 40 freelancers.

10 Qualitätsgemeinschaft Euro-Schulen-Organisation Directions of the International Co-operation of the Euro-Schulen Halle Areas of vocational training - commercial / economic professions priorities: languages, administration and management, Marketing, Tourism and Events Management -nursing professions -Physiotherapy ; also « Bachelor of Physiotherapy » Examples: Internationalization of the vocational training -“Bachelor of Arts in Administration and Management”in cooperation with the „New College“ in Durham (GB) -„Bachelor of Health / Physiotherapy in cooperation with the Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen (HAN) NL

11 Qualitätsgemeinschaft Euro-Schulen-Organisation The team for the partnership project – Euro Job Bank Claus Scheiding - Coordinator / Responsible for the project in Halle Representatives of the vocational schools: Julia Wünsch - Deputy Head of the ESO – Vocational Schools in Saxony – Anhalt Katrin Riffert - English teacher at the Euro-Schulen Halle (experienced in partnership projects) Experienced labor market actors – responsible for collaboration with employers Manfred Boide – Project leader in a placement project for persons about 50 years. He is also responsible for all multi- media activities within the project (Website, Facebook etc.) Elke Weise - project team member in the same project - placement of persons over 50 years in jobs

12 Qualitätsgemeinschaft Euro-Schulen-Organisation Projects for disadvantaged persons in the labour market Aims: - - integration in a job or vocational training - - reduction of the unemployment -reduction of social conflict potentials Target groups: - - long term unemployed persons (especially women and young people) - unemployed persons above 50 years old - single parents Young people: Youths at the transition from school education to vocational training, or from vocational training to work, youths without any school graduation, school and training dropouts, youths with a complicated social background
