Aims and Outcomes To Look at how you prepare yourself and your players for the Match day To think about how your Match day run from the moment your players arrive up until the time they leave. i.e Dressing rooms, Setting up the pitch, Brief players, Warm ups, Intervals, Substitution and Post match. What are the players getting better at?

Time of Event Arrival? 9.45 am - team announced, player responsibilities (player time) set pieces (11-a-side) 9.55 am - player briefing- team challenges + individual challenges 10.05 am - pitch side-warm up (age appropriate) and match prep 10.25 am – final reminders Match day Philosophy 1.Play ‘Football’ 2.Improve and work on my challenges 3.Play within the laws & demonstrate discipline 4.Try to win the game but not at the expense of points 1&3

Switching play Technical Practise 1.8 Players. 3 in middle zone other 5 spread in other 2 zones. 2 balls 2.Blue (Circles) players receive ball from one side of pitch and try to play to a free player on other side of pitch. 3.Rotate Reds (Triangles) Skill Practise 1.4v2 + 2 floaters 2.Try to score by having gone from one side of pitch to the other. Upon scoring maintain possession and attack other end Game related Practise 1.2 teams of 4 + GK’s 2.Directional - score in opposition goal
