16
Before the pantomime starts, this is what the stage will look like
17
When the show starts the lights will stay on so I can see
18
If I want I can cover my ears if I think some of the pantomime is loud. I can also wear my headphones and hold ………………….. hand. Or I can go to the quiet room
19
If I find it hard to be quiet I can ask ………………. to ask an usher to take us to the quiet room that looks like this
20
If I need to go to the toilet I need to look for a sign like these If I can not find a sign, I can ask an usher
21
I will see a lot of ushers. Ushers work for The Spa and are there to help me I need to ask any questions
22
At the interval the show stops for 15 minutes and I can go buy a drink at the bar that looks like this
23
I can also buy an ice cream
24
At the end of the interval ushers will come and speak to me to ask me to take my seat back in the theatre for the second half of the pantomime. If I’m not already sitting down in my seat I will go to it and sit down or I can go to the quiet room if I am not ready to go in to the theatre
25
If there is an emergency I need to follow these signs with my companion
26
At the end of the pantomime people will clap, this tells the actors the audience liked what they did. I can clap if I want to. I do not have to clap if I do not want
27
I know that even though the clapping can be loud and can feel scary, none of the noise can hurt me
28
When the show has finished, I will leave the theatre and go out of the front door. I have been to see the pantomime at The Spa Bridlington
