6 Start from bottom There was a litter of 7 cats. The first two were males. The next three were females. The last two were males. The oldest cat had long ears. The females were carriers. The youngest cat had long ears. Their mother was a carrier and father had long ears Their mothers mother was a carrier but their mothers father was not affect at all. The liters father’s father was a carrier and fathers mother had long ears.

7 Draw the following pedigree start from the bottom There were 5 mice in the litter. The first three mice were males who carried the trait for long tails. The youngest two mice were females. The only mouse to have a long tail in the litter was the oldest female. The liters mother had a long tail but the father did not. The fathers two brothers did not have a long tail and neither did his mom or dad. His dad however was a carrier. The litter’s mom’s dad had a long tail the mom’s mom was a carrier for the trait.
