12 Building Network of Remote Labs for strengthening university-secondary vocational schools collaboration Evaluation of the teaching module 27 students of the 1 st year of Electrical and computer engineering study field were included in the evaluation Evaluation is performed in two parts: Students gave descriptive answers to 3 questions. Students evaluated 15 given statements on the scale from 1 to 5 Descriptive statistical procedures were used during results processing

13 Building Network of Remote Labs for strengthening university-secondary vocational schools collaboration Descriptive answers List advantages of the remote experiment (chosen descriptions): Simple to use; Excellent to exercise basic knowledge in the course of Basics of Elektrotechnics; Remote laboratory access from any distant point, we don’t have to be physically present; Possibility of practical use of the gained knowledge; Possibility to perform exercises any time and not only when the lab is open.; Team work with the colleagues is possible; Exercising before entering the lab with real experiments setup;

14 Building Network of Remote Labs for strengthening university-secondary vocational schools collaboration Descriptive answers List disadvantages of the remote experiment (chosen descriptions): Limited time of the exercise; Lack of possibility to start experiment from any browser and necessity to use the JAVAs old version; Response speed of actions can be poor; Additional comments (chosen descriptions): I liked the experiment and it would be great to if other courses had it as well; I am satisfied with what I have learned from the experiment; It would be desirable to develop more similar programs because it is both interesting and useful.

15 Building Network of Remote Labs for strengthening university-secondary vocational schools collaboration Statements regarding whole experiment experience that students needed to evaluate on the scale form 1 to 5 1.Performing the remote experiment allowed me to accomplish teaching module goals 2.Preforming this remote experiment helped me reach teaching module results. 3.This remote experiment helped me understand basic theory of the teaching module better. 4.Remote experiment can help me use laboratory equipment. 5.Remote experiment within this teaching module was set in the appropriate technical level. 6.Experiment is simple to understand and use. 7.Written manual for the remote experiment is understandable and useful. 8.Before I used the remote experiment I got adequate explanations form a professor/assistant. 9.User interface of the experiment within this teaching module is simple to use. 10.Response time for user actions in the on-going experiment is satisfactory. 11.Experiment allows collecting experimental results. 12.Experiment allows saving experimental results. 13.Visual experience quality during the experiment is satisfactory. 14.During the experiment performance there were no problems or delays. 15.I would like to use the remote experiment in other lessons within this course.
