Live in peace with each other.” How should I treat leaders in God’s Church?

5. Acts 2 : 42 - 27 5. Acts 2 : 42 - 27 “42 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43 Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. 44 All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45 They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. 46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.”(NIV) What did the early believers do together?

6. 1 Corinthians 12 : 25 - 27 “ 6. 1 Corinthians 12 : 25 - 27 “25 And so there is no division in the body, but all its different parts have the same concern for one another. 26 If one part of the body suffers, all the other parts suffer with it; if one part is praised, all the other parts share its happiness. 27 All of you are Christ's body, and each one is a part of it.”(GNB) What should be my reaction when another Christian suffers?

As several logs in a fire burn brightly and vigorously when together, so we are encouraged by fellow believers and their gifts. If we avoid other Christians, our fire dims…

“Some people have given up the habit of meeting for worship, but we must not do that. We should keep on encouraging each other, especially since you know that the day of the Lord's coming is getting closer.”

To whom does the Church belong? Why is the church important to you? What happens when we avoid other Christians?

“Instead, be kind and tender-hearted to one another, and forgive one another, as God has forgiven you through Christ.” (GNB)
