Support Plans (Post Go-Live) WellCare post go-live readiness and support plans include: –A 15% additional staffing by our Customer Service group –Conducting go-live status meetings with leadership team and market reps to review transactions of critical importance, as well as impact to their SLAs –Establishing a fully staffed war room for October 1 and planning to keep this open for 10 days; Project Management Office will staff and track major issues –Establishing support procedures to direct any problems that arise to the correct group for resolution 3

WellCare’s Internal Training External vendor conducted an ICD-10 Boot Camp (20-hour online workshop) for new Coders coming onboard. Corporate coders who have completed assessments and boot camp are taking more in-depth courses including 26 hours of CM training and 32 hours PCS training. WellCare Associates are taking a 7-hour online training w ebinar. 1-day onsite workshop for all Corporate Coders. 4

WellCare’s ICD-10 Readiness It will take a couple of weeks before we have the full picture of ICD-10 implementation because very few health care providers file claims on the same day a medical service is given. –Providers are encouraged to contact their local Provider Relations representative if there are any concerns or assistance needed; providing specific examples of your concerns is most helpful for investigative purposes WellCare will be monitoring the claims intake and adjudication cycle for ICD-10 compliancy over the next few weeks. WellCare is aligning itself with CMS guidelines and practices for ICD-10 compliance. 5
