3  Website – My.classlink.com/  Use your Active Directory login Logging In

4  Click on the top right corner, where there looks to be a picture.  Click My Profile to access all of your profile settings. My Profile

5  In this section, you can your profile image by click change image.  Once you find a picture you like you can click on the picture to make it your profile image.  You can also upload your own image by clicking ‘Upoad Avatar’. General Settings

6  In this section, you can change your theme by picking your favorite color.  This will change the color of your toolbar, folders, and menu words. Themes & Colors  You can change your wallpaper, if allowed by your admin.  You are able to choose from our extensive list of wallpapers.

7  In this section, you can update any incorrect and changed usernames or passwords.  This list will include all Single Sign-on applications that are already in your My Apps section.  Find the app you wish to correct or change and click edit on the right. Password Locker

8  Set up your sign in with options from this section.  You will be able to set up only the options that your administrator has allowed.  Simply click ‘Connect’ next to the method you would like to use to sign into ClassLink with.  You will have the option to use your network login or this option once you set this up. 9  Password recovery allows you to be able to reset your network password.  This would change your password for ClassLink and any other tools you sign into with your network (AD) login.  You can choose to use your cell number, your email address (not a school email), or choosing to answer 3 security questions. 10  Two factor authentication allows your users a second form of security when logging in. This is only available if your administrator has allowed it.  Users can choose a photo or to get a code sent to their phone.  When they log in, they will enter their normal log in credentials, as well as choose the photo they picked or enter the code sent to their phone. 11  Browse the ClassLink library and add any apps you would like  Create a custom app from any web resource  Apps with keys are Single Sign On’s (Any app with a sign in can become a Single Sign On) My Apps

12 Step 1Step 2 App Library Click here to access all of the current resources Click Add and it will be on the My Apps screen on every device.

13 Step 2  Enter the name of the app, the website and choose an icon.  If you would like a custom icon, check “request a new icon”  If this app requires a username and password, simply check “request a new One-Click Sign On” Custom App Step 1 Click here to create your own app from any web resource

16 To connect your Google Drive, Dropbox, Office365, or OneDrive accounts go to Manage Services in the My Files screen. Click Connect and sign into which ever accounts you would like to connect. Connecting your Cloud Drive Files

17  Browse to the file that you want to open  When you click on the file, the following things may happen: If the file type ends with an x (docx, pptx, xlsx), the files will be opened in office online automatically. If the file type does not end in an x (doc, ppt, xls), then this is an older file type not supported by office online so we will automatically open this with Zoho; an online editor. If you would like to open the file locally on your computer you can right click the document and choose the ‘Open on Your Device’ option. You must have our local agent installed in order to use this option. Documents being opened from your Google Drive will be opened using Google since that is the original location.  When you save the document, you just need to hit the save icon and it will be automatically saved back to the files in ClassLink. 19 Click on the ‘My Classes’ icon on the bottom of the screen You will now be able to see the classes you have already and you have the ability to create new ones. My Classes

20 You can create a new class by clicking ‘Add New’ on the left pane. After clicking one button, you must enter a name and class description. The color option is for how the class will look on the calendar. Adding Classes

22  You can choose to enable or disable any of these features.  If you want to be able to approve comments before they are posted be sure to uncheck the last option to ‘Auto approve comments’ Discussions: Settings

23 To edit the apps for your class, Click on the icon next to Apps and choose Edit Mode To Add Apps, choose add app To Delete an App, hover over the app and click the red x When you are finished, click Done editing Adding Apps to My Classes

24 Notebook This is where you can add lessons. You must create a folder before you can add any lessons. Tip: make folders based on Units or specific topics.  Click Add Page to create a new lesson.  You can import lessons from other classes.  To Edit a lesson, just click on the name.  To Hide a lesson, click on the eye symbol.

25 Files When you click on files, this will open My Files up in a new tab. It will take you straight to the files for your class.

26 Files Continued… New:Upload from: ClassLink cloud drive, school network, files from the computer you are working on or from any of the cloud services you see below(located in Settings on the Manage Services tab)

27 Assignments All of your assignments will be listed here. To create a new assignment, click the New button next to the Title Assignments.

28 New Assignments When creating a new assignment, enter a name for the assignment, a due date, and you can choose who to assign it to. Then you can describe the assignment below. You can lock an assignment on the right, if you are not ready to have student work on it. You also have the option to attach files

29 Choose the drop down for Everyone and choose Custom Click Assign Now you can assign a User or a Group New Assignments Continued.. If you are not assigning the assignment to everyone….

30  Edit Class Name  Change Class Color (Used for calendar)  Edit Class Description  Enable or Disable Self Enrollment Settings

31 Settings: Members Members are the STUDENTS you want to add to the class. Click Add Users to add students.

32  You can group your students any way you wish.  This allows you to give certain groups different assignments and discussions.  Groups can be edited or changed whenever you want.  You can have as many groups as you want.  Students can be a part of multiple groups. Settings: Groups

33  If you need or want to share your class with another teacher click add user and choose the teacher you want to add.  You will both be able to access this class.  If you want them to be able to edit the class you must click on toggle in order to change it from read only to read and write. Settings: Share

34  This allows those that are not part of the class to see some of the class modules.  You can decide which parts of the class to make public, if any.  You will need to provide the url in order for ‘outsiders’ to be able to view the class. Settings: Public View

35 Once you click on Inbox, you can compose an email. Include a subject, your message and you can add recipients. To add recipients, choose the class and then the students you wish to send a message too Inbox

36 Calendar Button: Located top left, next to the resources. Calendar View: You can see all assignments posted. The color you choose when you create your class is the same color the assignment will appear in your calendar Calendar
