Chapter 4 – Success Wade Zengel

 Franchising leads to the growth of the fast food industry while still maintaining product and giving a difficult time to those who start the business.

 Starting a franchise provides what seems like a benefit to both sides. (Brand name, business, expertise)  This allows the industry to grow in size while using the hopes of small investors and their money.

 I felt as if the author presented these observations and the I was able to recognize that they were true when I thought about them.  Most of the proof the author uses are specific examples and many “What if” situations.  There is proof with specific values that prove the point of how the franchisor has a greater income than the franchisee.

 The beginning describes a franchisee working very hard and making a small amount of money.

 With the franchising strategy seeming as a smart way for business graduates to safely make a business it also greatly increases the profits of the business.  This allows the fast food business to grow larger and larger and more powerful and influencial.
