PROCESS 1. Production of packaging and filling 2. Distribution and marketing 3. Consume 4. Waste 5. Recycling 6. Getting the raw material

Tipes of container 1. Green container - GLASS 2. Yellow container – PACKAGING 3. Blue container - PAPER & CARDBOARD

Everything Starts With A Simple Gesture

Caution The Yellow Container Isn't Suitable For Recycling Everything There

Only

What packagings can we place in the yellow container?  Remember: Bottles of water, pops, milk, etc  Cleaning products containers  Shampoo and shower gel, cologne  Butter and and yoghourt containers  Styrofoam trays – Plastic coverings (biscuits, cakes,..) Bags of chips, jellies, snacks,..  Metal Containers  Cans – Aluminium trays – Sprays – Tins

 REMEMBER  Tins (tomato, tuna, sardines,..)  Drinks cans  Aluminium trays  Sprays  Metallic taps from bottles or containers  Brik Containers  Milkshakes – Milk – Juices  REMEMBER:  Juice, milk, wine, milkshake, stock, gazpacho  YES  REMEMBER – IN THE YELLOW CONTAINER  Only plastic containers, cans and briks

 RECOMMENDATIONS  If you empty all the container, there won’t be bad smells around.  If you fold them, they will take less space  You can reuse the shopping bags as waste bags

Never

 NEVER  This is what you SHOULD NEVER place in the yellow container  CARDBOARD, PAPER AND GLASS PACKAGINGS  Cardboard containers and boxesNewspapers and booksGlass  OBJECTS WHICH ARE NOT USED AS CONTAINERS  Shoes and clothestoysOrganic waste small appliancesdiapers  ChinabucketsCDscasetteshangers  IF YOU MIX THE WASTE YOU CAN WASTE ALL OUR EFFORTS

 RECOMMENDATIONS  If the bag is too much heavy, please check its content with caution.  NO  REMEMBER  In the yellow container you shouldn’t waste: Organic waste, diapers, glass containers, paper, cardboard containers, books and newspapers,..

 Almost a quarter of the waste - 22,9%- is wrongly thrown in the yellow recycling containers, where it may be only placed the plastic containers, cans and bricks.

There are Four Types Of Plastics Recycling

 PRIMARY RECYCLING  SECONDARY RECYCLING  TERTIARY RECYCLING  QUATERNARY RECYCLING

Primary Recycling  Separation  Granulated  Cleaning  Pelletizing

Separate And Classify Different Types Of Plastic

Types of Plastic

Granulated

Cleaning

Pelletizing

Primary Recycling

Secondary Recycling In this type of recycling plastic turns into articles with properties not inferior to the original polymer. Some examples of plastics being back by this method are the thermosets or polluted plastics.

 This process takes Hawai the need of separating and clearing the plastics, instead of aluminium, paper, dust, etc. They are crushed and combined together into an extruder. The plastics run through a tube with a big opening to a water shower and then they are cut down into different lenghts depending on the client’s requirements.

Tertiary Recycling type of recycling polymer degrades the basic fuels and chemicals. It differs from the previous ones because it involves a physical change as well as a chemical change. Nowadays the primary recycling has two main methods.

 Pyrolysis and gasification. In the first step the raw materials from the plastics are recovered for them to remake pure polymers with the best properties and less pollution. And in a second step, through the heating of the plastics a gas is obtained which can be used to produce electricity, methanol, or ammonia.
