3  Project duration: 2005-  Leader: Pécs-Mecsek Wine Route Public Benefit Association  Innovation: ◦ Integrating wine producers and tourism service providers in the Pécs Wine Region ◦ Chanelling producers into a common network, which can offers complex packages

4  Aims: ◦ Increasing visibility and recognition of the Pécs wine producing area ◦ Preserve the traditions of the Pécs wine producing area ◦ Preserve the gastrocultural heritage ◦ Unite the service providers of the Pécs wine producing area and represent their interests ◦ Promotion of wine tourism  Outputs/results: ◦ the employment of 2-3 employees per year ◦ coordination of the activities of 30-35 service providers ◦ successful tendering in domestic and international calls for proposal, successful project implementations

5  Why is it important? ◦ Help small local communities ◦ Help to increase local wine consumption ◦ There are no problems in sales ◦ Innovative visitors center for wine region in Pécs ◦ International effect – new Croatian wine route established in a joint project

7  Project duration: 6 months (2013)  Leader: Pécs-Mecsek Wine Route Public Benefit Association  Innovation: ◦ Providing adequate knowledge for recognising and valorising not only wine, but other high-quality terroir products as well ◦ Acquiring the skills for objective quality rating the positioning of own products can more easily and effectively be realised

8  Aims: ◦ the integration of local produce into the tourism supply ◦ introduction of local produce to tourism service providers (accommodation providers, restaurant owners, giftshops etc.) and the transfer of such knowledge that will help them recognize and distinguish good quality products in an ever expanding supply. ◦ the improvement of the market position of local producers  Outputs/results: ◦ the training of 20 professionals ◦ obtaining training support for a new training programme

10  Project duration: 2011-  Leader: Orfű Tourism Association  Innovation: ◦ Originally a row of pigstys, now an innovative and unique accommodation ◦ Preserving the rural character of the building while integrating facilities which meet the needs and expectations of active tourists.

11  Aims: ◦ strengthening active and ecotourism in the region ◦ sharing of experiences among local communities  Outputs/results: ◦ attitude change achieved in the settlement and the Hotel as a good practice would gain international visibility ◦ connecting the active cycling community of the settlement and its activities to the European cycling circles ◦ One employee
