Do This: Grammar and tenses Share accomplishments, not responsibilities Quantify your accomplishments Tweak for each opportunity Proofread from the bottom up Get feedback EFFECTIVE RESUMES

Don’t Do This: Use the pronoun “I” Use clichés and buzzwords Leave out months Cram everything into one page Use the same resume for every job Include “references upon request” Add more than two pages EFFECTIVE RESUMES
