3. Monday 8:30 am - Children arrive at school 9.00am – Coach leaves 12.00pm visit spinnaker tower in Portsmouth 1.00pm Lunch – please provide 3.00pm – Ferry 4.30pm Arrive at hotel, unpack and settle in! 5.30pm – Dinner Evening - Exploring the local area – beach visit/free time

4. Tuesday 9:30 am - Depart hotel 10:00am – Arrive at Robin Hill County Park 12:30pm – Meet for lunch 2:00pm – Games and activities on large playing green at Robin Hill Evening – Shanklin Theatre Show

5. Wednesday 9:30 am - Depart hotel 10:00am – Black Gang Chine 12:30pm – Lunch at Black Gang Chine 2:00pm – Black Gang Chine Evening – Waltzing Waters

6. Thursday 9:15am – Depart Hotel 10:00am – Alum Bay (including boat cruise and Chair lift) 12:30pm - Lunch 2.00pm – Owl and Monkey haven Evening – Disco back at hotel

7. Friday 9:30am – Depart hotel 10:00am – Crazy Golf at Sandham Gardens 12.00pm – Ferry back to Portsmouth 4:00pm/5.00pm– Approximate arrival back at school

8. Kit Please see kit list provided. A few pieces of advice The children HAVE to carry their own bags (including up the stairs in the hotel), so don’t over pack! Remember to include black sacks for dirty/ damp clothes for the journey home Pay attention to the NOT ALLOWED list. (This is enforced by the hotel).

9. Hot Weather Please pack sun cream and hat. We will be reminding the children throughout the week about sun cream however they will need to be able to apply it themselves. Please pack a named water bottle

10. Money Pocket money is limited to £25 for the week. (Although you do not have to bring this much!) Money has to be in a purse/wallet/envelope with your child’s name on it. It is the child’s responsibility to look after their own money. Please try and put as much change in as possible rather than notes.

11. Sweets/treats Please do not pack any sweets, chocolate, crisps etc for your child. They will be given opportunities to purchase these during the week. Any that are found will be taken off the children.

12. Medicines All medicines including asthma pumps need to be in school week commencing Tuesday 7 th June. The medical form will be coming home next week and needs to be returned by Friday 27 th May. All medical conditions and daily medicines should be clearly written onto the medical forms. Medicine should be clearly labelled with your child’s name and required dosage and handed to the school office by Thursday 9 th June.

13. Electronics & Mobile Phones No electronic devices or mobiles phones are to be brought. (We will not be held responsible if any are lost or damaged. If we do find any, we will confiscate them for the remainder of the week). The hotel has stipulated no hair dryers or straighteners. Please do not put any special notes in your child’s bag as this may cause upset and homesickness.
