A good scientist must be curious, creative, skeptical and open minded to create scientific ideas.

Practical problems are a common source of ideas…for example if you are constantly late for class what would you do? Technology also helps in the development of new scientific ideas…which leads to new technology….which leads to new ideas…new technology…new idea….see the pattern!!!

A network of scholarly journals allow scientists to publish their newest findings. These journals are peer reviewed to ensure accuracy and that all steps have been taken properly.

A theory is a well tested explanation for something that can not be completely recreated. Example? A law is a definite explanation for an event that can be recreated. Example?

Science gives society explanations and technologies. Science tries to have no bias. Science gives explanations without ethical or moral viewpoints.

To use science accurately and to get the best results from it a person MUST realize that science is always changing. Never think that the scientific facts of today will be the facts of tomorrow. Do not memorize scientific facts but instead learn how to use the knowledge of today to further the knowledge of tomorrow.
