ACCOMMODATION INFORMATION Ùlfljótsvatn (ull-lef-swah) is situated in the South West of the country, 2 hrs by coach from Reykjavik The camp is surround by pure countryside and lakes so going out for dinner maybe a little bit hard. That’s why all of your food is prepared on site. You will have breakfast and dinner at the camp and then you will pick up a pack lunch each morning that you will take with you on your travels. The site has free WIFI so we will be blogging to keep you up to date

ITINERARY DAY 1 – TRAVEL DAY Group meet at Airport Fly to Reykjavik Airport with EasyJet (Duration approximately 3 - 3.5 hours) Coach transfer to Ùlfljótsvatn Scout Centre (approximately 2 hours)

ITINERARY DAY 1 Continued.. Chance to explore the campsite and take part in free activities Obstacle course Water obstacle course Accommodation in tents made by 66 degrees North – an Icelandic company. Scouts in six man tents leaders in two man tents. Tents will be pitched for us.

Monday DAY 2 The Golden Circle Tour - this is one of the most popular excursions to see a variety of landscapes including the Great Geysers, The Golden Waterfalls, Thingvellier National Park (where the world is split in two) bubbling hot springs, and other geological phenomena.

Tuesday DAY 3 – BLUE ICE ADVENTURE Walk on a glacier Explore water cauldrons, waterways and other ice features Hiking boots suitable for crampons A crampon is a sharp spike that you secure to your boot which then helps you walk better and safer on ice.

SAMPLE ITINERARY DAY 4 – DISCOVER THE HIKING TRAIL Hike from Ùlfljótsvatn into the surrounding hills at midnight Much lighter than you think – up to 17 hours of daylight in the summer months Spectacular views under an open sky

What happens next? Make sure payments are up to date £300 per traveler by 12 th May Make sure passports are in place for all travelers Collect remaining medical information – Due now Collection of 2 st deposit of £100 – 12 h May – Sealed envelope with child’s name on it - we’ll issue a payment card on receipt.
