1. Local District West April 2016

2. Superintendent Hildreth visited Dorsey High School and shared a meal prepared by the wonderful culinary arts students.

4. Horace Mann Middle School, with the support of UCLA, celebrated student achievement at an Academic Fair.

5. Art in Action recognized Playa Vista Elementary School as having an exemplary model of integrating science and art into their STEM curriculum.

6. Eight students from Washington Preparatory High School were honored in a UCLA-sponsored admission ceremony, fulfilling the 22 schools campaign goals by 700% from last year.

7. Middle College High School participated in the Toyota Youth Business Competition and outperformed their peers to win the final competition: scholarship of $10,000 was awarded to 1st Place MC Student Juan Hernandez, and a scholarship of $5,000 was awarded to 2nd Place MC Student Nichelle Garcia.
