Throughout the Val d'Agri area plants for the use of renewable sources (solar, wind, biomass, water) were made that make these valleys particularly interesting and probably unique in our country, to learn about the complex and vast world of energy. The "Lucan valleys” also provide the opportunity to improve the knowledge of energy sources in an extraordinary context from a landscape point of view, for the unique and rich biodiversity and the presence of traces of the past. The National Park of Lucano Val d'Agri-Lagonegro Appennines, for example, presents a diverse geology, temporary lakes, caves, springs, fossil areas and facilities that tell the evolution of Lucano Appennine.
