DDU-GKY Significance Of An ERP For Monitoring & Governance Presented By: NABCONS
2
For a few minutes, forget, that we live in an age of technology. Forget, that we have Facebook, Google, Microsoft Office.
3
Now, that we don't have technology, I thought, what if I have to design the flow of every process of DDU- GKY. How will do it?
4
So, I took out my black board and with a piece of chalk, I started working on it. If I have 1 project which has 1 training centre which runs one batch. I designed something like this...
5
Each Box Is A Process Each Process Has Its Activities Each Process/ Activity is a transaction point Each Transaction Point Records Information
6
Then I Thought, What if a training centre has two batches? I came up with something like this..
8
Then two training centres, with multiple batches…
10
Finally Multiple Projects With Multiple Training Centres With Multiple Batches….
15
This network grows and grows filled with information that is required to be captured.
16
Information, that is essential for, efficient monitoring & evaluation of your projects.
17
DDU-GKY has; 50+ processes 70+ Activities 300+ Transactions that contain information And this is if you have 1 Project, 1 Training Centre & 1 Batch.
18
This forms the premise of our problem. How to capture all this information, so that we can access it on a real time basis, in a manner which makes sense and this information once recorded is not subject to changes?
19
We can use excel, physical copes of forms to capture and store this information. First approach in mind
20
But neither of these two options ensure Data integrity, real time availability & information that makes sense. Is that a feasible solution ?
21
Thus, we have to go beyond our modes of information capturing. Finding a feasible solution
22
MRIGS Monitoring & Regulation For Improved Governance Of Skill Development
23
MRIGS An ERP for conducting DDU-GKY process online. An ERP, that records information on a real time basis. Information that cannot be changed once recorded.
24
MRIGS It has provided us access to 215 training centre data As on: 03-05-2016
25
Where is it located?
26
What will be taught?
27
Description Of Rooms And For What Purpose?
28
Which Trainers & Their Profiles
29
MRIGS It has provided us access to 2101 batches As on: 03-05-2016
30
How Many Batches Are Open/Closed?
31
Their Start Date, Close Date, Trade And Number Of Students.
32
Which Students Were In That Batch?
33
MRIGS It has given us access to placement information of 13129 candidates. As on: 03-05-2016
34
Which Employer Do They Work For? And At Which Location?
35
At What Salary Structure Were They Employed?
36
For How Many Months Did They Work?
37
At What Salary During These Months?
38
Inspections, When & Which Advisories
39
MRIGS Information, that we captured at the point of transaction, enabled us to make a shift from monthly reporting, to daily reporting.
40
MRIGS Analytics What is the point having of data, if it is not analyzed? MRIGS provides following tools.
41
Auto Calculation Of PPWS Default
42
Demographic Profile Analysis
43
Demographic Profile State Level Analysis
44
Demographic Profile Project Level Analysis
45
Demographic Profile Training Centre Level Analysis
46
MRIGS MRIGS, will enable us to handshake with; PFMS NSDC Aadhar Other ERPs
47
MRIGS This Handshaking, will enable us in integrating our system with other systems, thus information exchange will become more efficient. And process execution will be more efficient.
48
MRIGS The way forward, is to automate processes; PPS calculation Entitlements Calculation PIA Grading Project Grading Advanced Analytics. Instalment Release Eligibility & Checklist
