MS TESTING WINDOW ELA Books 1 – Tuesday April 16 ELA Books 2 & 3 – Wednesday April 17 ELA Book 4 – Thursday, April 18 Math Book 1 – Wednesday, April 24 Math Book 2 – Thursday, April 25 Math Book 3 – Friday, April 26

ATTENDANCE First period teachers take period attendance as usual; it will meet every day. On A Days: 2 nd Period School attendance will be bubbled by office staff from 1 st period attendance sheets. Period attendance for 2 and 3 rd will be Released. On B days: period attendance for 5, 6, 7 th will be Released.

FLOW OF THE DAY 8:30 amStudents/Teachers report to 1 st period class 8:35 am Extended time teachers report to Catrina Rocco to pick up testing envelops for their assignment. 8:40 am Extended time teachers pick up students from 1 st period classes and bring them to the appropriate test room. 8:45 am Delivery of testing envelops to 1 st period classroom teachers. 8:50 am Prepare for the administration of state exam. Distribute answer sheets, pencils, etc. 9:00 amExam Begins

EXAM TIME – General Education Students: 90 minutes – ESL Students 135 minutes (2 hours 15 minutes) – SPED Students 135 minutes (2 hours 15 minutes)

Envelopes Teacher’s Directions Classroom Roster Test Book (as appropriate 1, 2, 3, 4) ELA or MATH Answer Sheets Student identification labels (one per student to be placed test booklet) Pencils and other supplies

Answer Documents MS/HS Pre-slugged Non-pre slugged…fill in student Information and grade on grid.

Proctors.....before the test Use of Communication Devices Prohibited Correct answer document All announcements & Instructions

Proctors…..during the test Read ALL directions verbatim Answer questions about directions ONLY Adhere to time limits NO Newspapers/laptops No students may leave and return to room unless accompanied by a proctor. Student Cheating: warning, if necessary move student, otherwise notified the principal immediately and terminate student’s test.

Proctors…..after the test HS – Sign the declaration MS- Sign the test security form Collect all materials
