2.  A neonatal nurse can work in three different levels - in the first level, they take care of healthy born babies after childbirth, in the second level they cater to the needs of the ill newborns or those who have had a premature birth and in the third level, they work for the newborns with problems which cannot be treated or cured in the earlier two levels. You can choose the level in which you wish to work as a neonatal nurse.

3.  I want to become a neonatal nurse because my heart is with babies. I hate to see them in pain and I want to do all I can to make them better. When I was in eleventh grade I job shadowed and fell in love with the job. I had such a great experience and I learned so much. I know that it is my passion so I wont dread going to work everyday, I will love it! (:

5.  To be a neonatal nurse you need a bachelor's degree in nursing along with 1 year's experience in working in the neonatal ICU. Getting that experience is an essential criteria to become a neonatal nurse. Even though it is not required many nurses go back to school to get their masters. The neonatal resuscitation provider certification is very essential to work as a neonatal nurse.  A nurse with experience less than one year earned an average salary in a range from $49,000 to $69,000. A nurse with the working experience from 1 to 5 years can earn approximately $69,000 to $81,000.
