Idioms and Their Meanings 1.Read the directions carefully. 2.Using the list of idioms come up with the figurative meaning of the words. 3.Using Word, type your idioms and their meanings. 4.Use Spellcheck to make sure you are spelling the words correctly. 5.Under each idiom insert pictures that would represent the literal and the figurative meanings of the idiom. 6.Save your work under your name to the idiom folder on the desktop. 7.Print out your work and turn it in. Idiom Board 1.Read your directions carefully. 2.Using the list of idioms you will come up with the figurative meaning of them. 3.Use the SAS Gloss app to create a board for each idiom. 4.You will post the meanings and add pictures to show the literal and the figurative meanings of the idiom. 5.Save your work under your name and then take a screenshot of your board. 6.Go to the BB shortcut on your iPad and log in. Load your picture to the Discussion Board “Idiom Board”. 7.View your assigned partner’s board and write a reply about their board. Did you create a board for each idiom? Did you save your work? Did you show your boards to a partner and discuss? Idiom Movie 1.Read and follow all of the directions. 2.You should have a list of idioms and their meanings that you created on Word. 3.You are going to create a movie using iMovie. 4.Include the definition of idiom and then examples of different idioms. 5.You can act out the idioms or video pictures. 6.When you finish you will save your video and post it to the Discussion Board “Idiom Movie”. 7.Then you need to watch two videos that were created by a different class and comment or ask a question about their video.
