NORTHEAST CONSORTIUM Greening of the Economy  It is likely that there may be fewer “green” jobs and more “greening” jobs (those where green skills are added to more traditional jobs)  Not like the internet boom, but there are some emerging occupations  For now green is growing in line with general job posting activity  Similar distribution by job family as the whole economy  Green jobs may not require different skills or unique training, but more of an interest in sustainability  Higher educational requirements across the board
