Work Term Overview Module 1: Entrepreneurship Awareness (Week 1) April 25 th -April 29th, 2016 Module 2: Entrepreneurial Skills Development (Week 2) May 2 nd -May 6 th, 2016 Module 3: Exploring Entrepreneurship (Week 4) May 9 th -May 13 th, 2016 Module 4: Applying Entrepreneurship (Week 5) May 16 th -May 27 th, 2016 *5 weeks (175 hour) directed study experience

Learning Objectives 1) Outline personal characteristics, skills and attributes that align with entrepreneurship 2) Explore the fundamental aspects of entrepreneurship in your associated industry of focus 3) Identify resources available to support entrepreneurial initiatives 4) Develop a viable concept proposal and create a prototype using the Business Model Canvas 5) Explain the basic structure and components of small business in the industry 6) Compile reflective documentation on all aspects of the course experience
