13. CHALLENGES there is a failure of the multinational enterpresis or MNEs to implement/enforce its Code of Conduct (CoC)/Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) down to its affiliates & suppliers. And secondly, to a certain extent the MNEs have condoned its affiliates and suppliers for failure to enforce/implement these CoC/CSR.

14. CHALLENGES These laws and instruments do not have sanctions and punitive measures...lacked the authority/lacked “teeth” Can be used in the campaign to expose, build awareness and became standards of complaints

CHALLENGES Main problem/obstacle: non-enforcement/non- implementation of these codes and instruments and lack of punitive measures for violators Before implementing/proposing new sets of changes/revisions we proposed work for its implementation...once enforced we can push for raising of the standards (labor) Involve the government and other stakeholders
