It is a school-wide program to recognize and REWARD good behavior! Our goal is to create a school environment where positive behavior is emphasized.

Homeroom teachers will model good behavior in the classroom through LEAPS lessons. These will be 5 – 10 minute lessons that will teach a positive behavior. School staff will share expectations and examples of positive behavior in the cafeteria, the hallways, and on the bus.

Students will earn Falcon dollars for showing good behavior, for improving behavior, or for being a Good Samaritan (helping out someone in need). You can exchange your Falcon dollars for classroom rewards or spend them in the school store. Here are some examples of each of those…

Free computer time Teacher’s aide for a class period Free homework pass Sit in teacher’s chair for a class period Control the Smart Board or Powerpoint Presentation

Free entrance to dance or in-school game Read morning announcements Help coach a sporting event Entrance to a quarterly movie in the auditorium Office aide for a period Library aide for a period
