2. In Language Arts I read a book called Maniac Magee. It is about a boy that does a lot of crazy stuff. I also learned all of the cursive capital letters. I wrote a personal narrative also. We also learned how to cite sources and we wrote a lot of memoirs. I also did grammar and we read stories from our student reference book.

3. Novels One of my favorite stories or novels was Finding the Titanic because it is about something that really happened. Another story I enjoyed was Maniac Magee because it was a good book. Right now we are reading a book called Sign of the Beaver it is about a boy in the 1700s who meets Indians.

4. In Social Studies I learned map skills. I also learned about early Native Americans and their habits. We learned about the impact of the Europeans to Native Americans. I learned about the geography of Michigan. I also learned about the Civil War and the underground railroad. We also took a field trip to Henry Ford Museum. That was very fun.

5. In Science I learned about ecosystems and aquariums. We also terrariums and crickets. We learned about biomes also. We all studied an endangered animal too. I am now studying variables. We played a game on the computer were we changed the outcome of a experiment using variables.

6. In Mathematics I learned about fractions and long division. I also learned how to find the area of polygons. We studied decimals and percents and the powers of. We also did estimation and angles. We did geometry too. I am learning about percents and turning fractions into percents. I like the traditional method more than other methods because it is easy.

7. Strengths One of my strengths is reading. I am proud of this because it is fun and easy for me to do. Another of my strengths is math. I am proud of it because I practice. I am good at writing cursive because I try to keep it neat

8. Goals My academic goal this year was to turn in my homework on time. So far I am doing okay. My personal goal this year was to get along with my brothers. So far I am doing good.
