2 What Does Coproduction Look Like 2 define people who use services as assets with skills break down the barriers between people who use services and professionals build on people’s existing capabilities work with peer and personal support networks alongside professional networks

3 What does Coproduction Look Like 3 include reciprocity (where people get something back for having done something for others) and mutuality (people working together to achieve their shared interests) facilitate services by helping organisations to become agents for change rather than just being service providers.

4 #WeLove Lower Deeside 4 During 2013, a multi agency group in Lower Deeside, the Cults Learning Partnership, identified mental health as a priority issue for their respective communities, which include Mannofield, Pitfodels, Cults, Bieldside, Milltimber and Peterculter.

5 #WeLove Lower Deeside 5 The Learning Partnership includes… Local library Local Churches Local Schools Community Groups Public Health Coordinator Wellbeing Officer Local Residents Capacity Building Officer Local Community Centres 3 rd Sector Organisations Community Council’s

6 #WeLove 6 This project aims to raise awareness in the community of : community based activities that can promote positive mental health and wellbeing, including opportunities to take part in physical and social activities, including volunteering how to look after your mental health and wellbeing who and what can help to address mental health issues and make changes to improve mental wellbeing

7 #WeLove 7 Activities undertaken by the Learning Partnership… Community Engagement – Consultation with local residents needs of the community Local Services & projects – Manchester University / Social Prescribing Community Groups – Breast feeding mums, Older people lunch clubs, Care Homes, singing groups, Local Support Groups, Walking groups, Health Club etc. Awareness Raising of Project – encouraging people to get involved – share the good practice. local groups, community council, News letters, bulletins Community Activities – Conversation Café’s, mapping events Social Media – FB& Tw – Connectivity – asset based Training – Mental Health Awareness Workshops, in community and in schools, Development of local ‘Champions’ – Getting involved training – On-going - local resource Wellbeing Festival - spring
