4 Shinji kagawa  Shinji Kagawa ( 香川 真司 Kagawa Shinji,born 17 March 1989 is a Japanese footballer who plays for English club Manchester United and the Japanese national team. Kagawa began his professional career in his homeland with Cerezo Osaka before joining German club Borussia Dortmund in 2010. After two years with Dortmund, Kagawa signed for Manchester United on a four-year contract. A goal-scoring midfielder, he is known for his "vision, technique, movement and deft passing.  On 29 November 2012, Kagawa was named AFC International Player of the Year Award. 5 Life Kagawa started playing football at the age of five. He joined Marino Football Club from 1994 to 1999, Kobe NK Football Club from 1999 to 2001, and FC Miyagi Barcelona in Sendai from 2001 to 2005. Cerezo Osaka noticed his talent and signed him at the age of 17. He was the first player in Japan to sign a professional contract before graduating high school, except players promoted from youth teams of the J. League clubs. In 2007, he gained a regular position but the club missed the promotion to the J. League Division 1. By mid-2010, Kagawa was represented with a sports agency run by retired German professional footballer Thomas Kroth, which ultimately handled his transfer to Borussia Dortmund.

Also competes in Olympics.  2009: Becomes highest scorer in J-League Division 2 as Osaka are promoted to top flight.  2010: Scores seven goals in 11 J-League appearances and joins Borussia Dortmund for 350,000 Euros. Misses out on a World Cup spot.  2011: Wins Asian Cup with Japan, but misses the final due to injury. Helps Dortmund win their first league title in nine years, scoring eight goals.  2012: Wins league and cup double with the German side, scoring 13 goals. Moves to Manchester United.  But ahead of Tuesday's Group H match against Galatasaray, he said: "His progress has been quite slow. He hasn't started any outside work and he may be another four weeks away."Tuesday's Group H match against Galatasaray,  He added: "Overall, he will probably be looking at six to seven weeks since the injury. The first job now is to get him back."
