5 Coaching Philosophy – Kids First ‘not for sheep stations’ DVD that all parents are to watch Register is to be signed – Play by the rules – we don’t bend them – Favouritism, Discipline, Respect – Codes of Conduct – Coaches supporting coaches – Seniors attending training and/or coaching

6 Awards this year – BOG: Junior Footy: McDonalds U12, U13: McDonalds U14, U16: $10 Amart Vouchers – Youth Awards (U12 – U16): B & F Runner Up B & F Coaches Best in Finals U16 Perpetuals x 2 Stewart Stinton Junior President Every Player gets a trophy. Presentation evening: 12 - 13 October 2012 *Only manager and coaches ‘gifts’ from team*

7 Team lists – are to be finalised / settled by 19 th – Players playing permanently up will train and play with their assigned team. Decision based on ? (your input required) – Skill, Desire, Age, Size ? – Players playing Up Aren’t to be ‘poached’, encouraged to train or permanently play up (roster it evenly) This is a coach by coach discussion and club registrar – Karen needs to be advised by Thursday before game day.

8 No First Aid – NO PLAY! The team’s responsibility to provide First Aid You must inform of your first aiders tonight Course is to be run 21 st at the club (next Saturday) – Pre-work to be done – If you already have one – get another! First Aiders are covered under AFLQ insurance incase of action against them. Fully stocked first aid kits in the pigeon holes up stairs – Injury Reports and First Aid Bibs in the kit

9 Game Day – Check List Club opening, field set up, BJ Admin, closing, etc. – Lanyards – Coaches Box – Club Copy of Rules – Wet Weather

10 Conflict is to be bought to the attention of the Club Committee as soon as possible – Parent complaints – Game day issues – Official breaches / issues – Injuries

11 Firstly – THANK YOU! Ask for help – you’ll need it – ‘TELL ASK’ – by scheduling – Ensure that all parents understand we are a community based club with no paid staff – Responsibilities: Canteen days Your game day coordination First Aid Come and ASK for help if you feel you need... or speak to your fellow managers!

12 We need them!! – Team based Canteen roster again – Cleaning the Club – TRYathlon – 10K draw tickets – Sportsmans night – Junior ‘athon’ day – Disco – Trivia night

13 We need you to update the club on your teams progress: – Web reports – if you don’t know how to update them please see me. – Facebook – we will update facebook from your web reports – Club Wrap – weekly news letter from your web reports – Club TV updated weekly from your web reports Please let us know a featured player of the week. Send us some photos weekly
