8.EE.5 Graph proportional relationships, interpreting the unit rate as the slope of the graph. Compare two different proportional relationships represented in different ways. For example, compare a distance-time graph to a distance-time equation to determine which of two moving objects has greater speed. IMPACT SAMR Cover Sheet Task OverviewLearning Objective(s)Suggested Technology Students will prove their knowledge of solving for slope using the educreations app on the ipad to record a step-by-step lesson that will be shared with their classmates. Students will correctly solve for slope using the rise over run method in graphs and the slope formula. Finding Slope 1.Go to educreations on ipad. 2.Click on New Lesson. 3.Create an original slope problem and either type in your problem or write your problem and take a picture of it. 4.Press the record button and begin to solve it recording your work and answers. Make sure that you are being the “teacher.” Do not simply show the work, you also must explain it so that other students can understand your method. 5.Once you have finished, click save and title it SlopeLesson_Your Name. 6.Email your recording to me at lucie.Mesuch@cpsb.org 7.Once I have it, I will check it. If it is acceptable, I will post it to my Blackboard to be shared with other students. If it is not acceptable, I will meet with you and it will be corrected and resubmitted.
