3 Symptoms of Rabies in Humans u Irritability u Headache u Fever u Itching or pain at the sight of exposure u Convulsions u Delirium u Sometimes Death

4 Symptoms of Rabies In Animals u some animals may become depressed and retreat to isolated places u wild animals, especially skunks, may lose their fear of humans u animals may show signs of paralysis such as abnormal facial u expressions, drooping head, sagging jaw, or paralyzed hind limbs

5 In Furious Rabies u animals may show extreme excitement and aggression u animals may gnaw and bite their own limbs u animals may attack stationary things or other animals u bouts of furious rabies usually alternate with periods of depression

7 Prevention of Rabies Prevention of Rabies u Series of vaccine injections u Vaccinating pets that share your home u Encourage your children not to touch or feed stray animals u Shots mostly given to people who have jobs that are in high risk of coming in contact with animals that have or carry Rabies.

8 Duration Duration u After symptoms of rabies begin, chances of survival are poor. u Without life support, death may occur within 4-20 days.
