2. El Micalet : Cathedral tower El micalet is a high tower in the centre of Valencia. you can see all the city, the landscape is very beautiful. You can see the river Turia, some skyscrappers, the stadium of Valencia F.C.called Mestalla, parks, bridges, monuments, museums… It is in the Catedral of Valencia, another beautiful place, it measures 51 metres and has got 207 stairs.

3. The train station The train station of Valencia is called Estacion del Norte. It is in the centre of the city too, very close to the town hall and near the bullring. The train station is very important for the city, and a very beautiful monument, too. You can see a lot of pictures, mosaics and figures that are representative of Valencia and the culture and costums about it. For example, the bat at the top of the station one of the symbols of the city.

4. Town hall The Town Hall is in the centre of the city. It’s the place where we hold a lot of celebrations. It is big and beautiful and has got an enormous balcony. This is considered a national monument.

5. Viveros Garden The Viveros Garden was built in the 11th century by the king Abd Al-Aziz. It was given to the town hall in 1903. It has fountains, reservoirs, a great variety of plants species… This garden is a nice place to walk with your family and friends, to have a meal…

6. Gulliver park The Gulliver Park is in the ancient Turia river bed, very close to La ciudad de las artes y las ciencias. There is a big Gulliver giant on the ground, and inside there are slides, stairs and ropes. It was inspired by the famous story of The Gulliver trips, and we are like the dwarves in the story when we play on it.

7. Bioparc is a brand new zoo in the city. Different habitats have been designed so that it seems that wild animals live in freedom

8. City of Science and Arts A Complex of spectacular buildings with different cultural functions. Santiago Calatrava, the famous Valencian architect, has made this project. It was started in 1994. there are a cinema called Hemisferic, a science museum called Prince Felipe, a tennis court called Ágora, the Palace of the Arts Queen Sofia, and an aquarium called l’Oceanografic…

11. Fallas Festival Las Fallas is a tradition in Valencia. Artists make beautiful and big monuments that are made of cardboard and wood. Artist work on them all the year round. On the 15th March, monuments are set out in the streets until the 19th March, when all of them are burnt.

13. La Albufera lake Just 5 Km south of Valencia City, you can find this lake. It’s a national park, and where birds from the North of Europe come to spend the winter.
